GirlTip #85: Are You Questioning Yourself After A Conflict?

Second guessing yourself after a conflict, and doubting your own version of events, can be a signal that something deeper and more troubling is afoot. Are you doubting because, if you really admitted what went down, you couldn’t justify being in relationship with the other person? Are you doing it because you fear something in yourself? When we get caught in the wondering about what happened, it takes much longer to move forward, and we may struggle in the weeds of judgment. In a healthy relationship, the question of what we're going to do about it should take up more mental space than what just happened.
