Parenting (& Educating) GirlTip: When a girl completes a task, instead of saying, “Great job!” try “That was a great strategy” or “choice.” Using this language (called “process feedback”) signals that there is not necessarily one “perfect” or “smart” way to solve a problem -- and that success is the product of persistence and thoughtful effort, not brilliance.
