Quick Hit: New Survey Finds 48% of College-Age Women Have Experienced or Witnessed Bullying

I'm proud to partner with Secret's Mean Stinks, a project on Facebook helping girls face the challenges of bullying, drama and everything in between. To understand the depth of this epidemic, Secret has published a survey of 1,000 young women ages 16-21 that found bullying is not just a middle school problem. Nearly 50% of college-age women have experienced or witnessed bullying at college or in the workplace. As much as we hear bullying talked about in the news today, it's important to remember that a decade ago, girl bullying was still largely seen as "girls being girls" -- and still is, in many communities. There are still many populations of women -- especially the elderly and college women -- whose stories have yet to be told.
